At approximately 2:45 AM, a member of the hotel’s security staff, accompanied by a stranger who was allegedly a previous guest, unlocked and entered my room without permission or prior notice. This intrusion occurred while we were about to rest, leaving us feeling unsafe and deeply unsettled.
We were later told that the stranger had returned to retrieve a lost item and that the hotel staff mistakenly opened our room instead of another room one floor below. However, this explanation does not justify the breach of privacy and security.
This incident reflects a serious failure in the hotel's management and safety protocols.

The room was good for the price. Good location for downtown Philly. The staff was also very courteous and professional. Front desk clerks were good as well.
Negatives:
The communication between Booking.com and the hotel has to get better. Booking.com doesn't update the hotel and sets a bad customer experience. Customer should be made aware of all fees before arriving. The temp in the room only reached 75 degrees, so the room didn't get as warm as desired. No toothbrushes or extra towels available.
