The noise from the highway was awful. If you stay on a Friday or Saturday night get ready to hear lots of motorcycles and loud cars driving on the vine street expressway until 4am. When we got there the staff didn’t immediately help us. There were 2 people at the front desk but they seemed preoccupied with something on the computer instead of immediately helping us.

Location and that I had to complain to get housekeeping to come to refresh our room. During the day it was ok to walk around the area but once the sun set there were a lot of sketchy characters walking around outside. I think we were close to a homeless shelter. I didn’t feel safe at all. And housekeeping never came until I complained. They state that they come in every other day and that did not happen.

We had to wait in line for 1.5 hours to check in. The line was out the door and did not move for the first hour, and some people in front of us had been waiting 2 hours. There was no explanation when it was finally our turn to check in.
In addition, the shower was so slippery that the first step I took, I flew out of the shower backwards and landed on the floor next to the toilet. I was very lucky I was not seriously injured (although I did receive many bruises), and someone who is less able bodied may have been. The shower and sink were both clogged so that the water would not go down.
