Positives:
Location was perfect. Attached to Reading Terminal Market and across the street from Jefferson Station.
Negatives:
They have someone floating in the lobby at all times asking you to sign up for their rewards service and “pick a destination”. I found this uncomfortable as we were not trying to be impeded coming in and out of the hotel. I think it is a little too aggressive and that people don’t want to be constantly bothered coming in and out of the hotel. I should’ve given the hotel a higher rating if this wasn’t in practice.

Good location, reasonable rates, but...
Positives:
The hotel is located in the Convention Center area of the city. That makes it good for those attending events at the Conference Center. There are plenty of restaurants within walking distance, including the Reading Market. The historical sites are a bit further away but still accessible. The staff were great. The room was clean. The breakfast was decent. The price was not great, but for the area, it was reasonable. Functional, clean, and useful is how I might describe it, which is what I expected.

Location and Functionality. No major complaint.
Located next to SEPTA Train Station, the Convention Center, and the Reading Market.
The wifi, shower and air conditioner was working fine. Room cleaning was good, and the room layout was fine.
With fast elevators I could go out of building smoothly. I didn't use but plenty of parking spaces. Breakfast was not overpriced and starts at 6AM.
In terms of convenience, this place is recommendable.

Atmosphere, Facilities, and Value for Money
The street around entrance door is sketchy at night. The decor looks dated.
The building is aging, and the room door does not shut easily. The old air conditioner can be noisy at night.
Check-in staff did not know that I reserved the option with breakfast, and took 20 minutes to prove I did. It was not pleasant.
Breakfast offers minimal selections and no vegetables. Juice/Coffee needs to be ordered separately. Staffs there were friendly though.
None of the shortcomings are serious, but nearby Hilton Home2Suite offers newer facilities and lower price. In terms of value for money I don't think this place is the best.

Dirty handprints on the CEILING of all places?? Pretty sure there was blood on the bathroom wall. Room seemed okay at first. Then we started finding more and more dirty/sketchy stuff.
