Positives:
Carpet in my room was stained that looked like urine or dog poop. Room smelled when air was turned off. Wall lights between beds could not be reached from bed. Bad design.

Everything was lovely. It was clean, the staff was very polite and accommodating.

My only complaint was the parking. The valet option would have been fine, except I had to go back and forth several times, making that option way too expensive. There is a parking garage a block away. But after midnight when I finally returned, it was a little nerve-wracking.

The location is great, the old city is just next door. Be sure to check out the hype Zahav restaurant, right across the street.
Negatives:
The rooms are very noisy. The hotel hosts weddings (or similar) regularly, so expect a lot of traffic. There is a space between he door and the floor, sufficient enough to hear all the noise from the hallways. Make sure you don't get a room that was originally a suite (now there's s closed door in between), because you will hear the other folks breathing through the door. The value for money is not worth it in my view. For a +$300 per night, you expect premium comfort. This was not the case during my stay. Luckily, I asked to have the room changed and it was possible. Additionally it has a great gym.

Loved the pillows. The room is great and clean. The staff was very nice and friendly.
Negatives:
In Newport Rhode Island, we had 2 glasses in the bathroom in addition to the 2 at the vanity. In both places, the room layout is poor for traffic around the end of the bed when someone is sitting at the desk chair.
