The staff was excellent.

Dank and dirty were the buzzwords used. The room smelled like a burrito: mismatched scarred furniture and no outlets on one side of the room.

Some basic utensil must be given. Unfortunately there was issue with wash basin( cracked) and also water logging. However, staff attended complaint immediately.

I was expecting a better...

This hotel is only a few blocks from Penn & Drexel. Great location for college visits. I was also able to check in early.
Negatives:
The bathroom sink had a slow drain.

Pricing was a bit high by my first estimates, but I was eventually upgraded so the overall price was just about right, I thought!

The staff was polite, professional and personabe. They were able to answer my questions when I asked for assistance. The housekeeper, on the 8th floor was very kind and my room beautiful. The staff in the dining room were very friendly.
Negatives:
I have no complaints. Sine I was not sure about my reservation, I reserved a refundable room reservation instead of non refundable and the price was much more than the conference rate for the block of rooms.
