The attitude of staff. I told you before it’s my husbands 50th and you didn’t give a damn/ ignored email requests to make room nice (would have paid) and ignored him at desk. Imagine how that felt as someone choosing your hotel to allegedly do something nice. I should have cancelled it there and then. As it is we moved on to Atlantic city the next day in a fabulous hotel that cost less and the staff were kind (shame that wasn’t his birthday!). All reception people I encountered were rude and unhelpful and then I saw you arguing publicly with another guest….

Positives:
Really enjoyable stay at the Sonesta for my first time in Philly. Great location, very close to Reading Terminal Market and all the main sites. The room was very spacious with a great view, hot shower and comfy bed. I would definitely stay here again. Staff were extremely helpful too. Room was cleaned every day to a high standard.
Negatives:
Overpriced due to Wrestlemania weekend. The cost of a bottle of water was $8 so I had to go to Trader Joes to get regular priced water. The credit provided for the bar doesn't cover alcohol either.

The hotel lobby staff were amazing. Nothing in my review has to do with them. I should have contacted the front desk lady about issues more.

As soon as we arrived half of the floor was soaked in what seemed like Coca Cola or some type of soda. The room I rented online's description did NOT meet the expectations whatsoever. I felt bait and switched. Me and a friend stayed for WrestleMania and got the room because it was near the venue and had a couch + bed. There was no couch on arrival. Had to sleep near the soda soaked carpet. They also charge you to breathe in this hotel. A 10 dollar a day fee just to exist. Worst hotel experience I've had, especially for these prices.
