The location was ideal for us, as we were visiting family in West Philly but still wanted easy walkability to Penn campus and more touristy areas across the river. It feels modern, comfortable, clean, safe, stylish — and the “book” theme in the lobby was very cool. The rooms are pretty simple, but exactly what we needed. If you need to do remote work while traveling, this hotel is perfect for you — our room had a beautiful huge desk in front of the window, and the lobby has a lot of open study desks as well. Front desk service was very helpful, and we were able to get a late checkout one day. Would certainly stay here again!

Positives:
BIg big windows, very bright and clean. Right next to U Penn and drexel, enjoyed my walk every day very much. Also very close to SEPTA station. Bed was comfy and the walk-in shower was spacious and nice pressure.
Negatives:
Didn't realize there was not a mini fridge in my room. Not a big deal.
Even with the blinds down it still was somewhat bright during day light. if you are looking for a dark dark room to sleep, might not be the best. Road can be somewhat noisy in the AM.
