The location of the hotel is one of it's few merits.
Negatives:
The lobby can be a bit noisy on weekends, and that's fine but it spills over into check-in and makes it hard to have a conversation with staff or get your things inside without chaos. Someone (with a key) tried to open our room door 2x. After hearing us inside and then having us push the door closed, they tried to open it again. It did not make us feel very safe. In addition, after a long day of traveling a "maybe something has happened stay tuned" alarm went off for about 5-10 minutes straight. The valet tool and extremely long amount of time to pull cars around and get them off of the street when new or returning guests arrived. For as much as they charge for valet, it is unacceptable that they expect you to wait 45+ minutes for a vehicle.

So we booked this hotel specifically for the wonderful pool. When we arrived on Friday evening, we found the pool looked like a porno movie site. We had no idea the pool was a site for a Pride gay convention gathering. We learned later that these folks were not even guests at the hotel and they took over the pool from paying family minded guests. I understand that your hotel probably made more profits at the expense of your hotel guests. I think you should have warned your guests what to expect….

There was no way we could use the pool with what was going on in there. To each his own, but I would never want to be close to that kind of behavior. What a disappointment in your hotel!

I had never stayed at a W and I probably never will I had upgraded the room for city views when I checked in they asked me if I wanted to upgrade again for another $40 which I did when we got to the room the toilet had poop stains on it had to call so they could come and clean it that really was gross after that the chair in the room was lopsided and stained the bed was not comfortable and the pillows felt like they had not been changed in years the Ice machine wasn’t working had to go to a different floor just to get some it’s sad to say but it just left a bad taste taste in my mouth when I walked in the hotel the Lobby it was gorgeous and lavish I couldn’t wait to get to my room the staff was great I was so disappointed when I got to the room
