We were right by an entry door that opened and closed all night. I complained about that. And the fact a crying baby was above us. We’re didn’t sleep the first two nights

Walking around did not feel safe because unfortunately downtown Pittsburgh is economically depressed and there are many homeless people living on the streets a few blocks from the hotel. We stop by and called the front desk asking for fresh towels and after almost an hour we were able to get those from a maintenance employee that we encountered in the hallway.

When we arrived, we were given a room that hadn’t been cleaned. Then we were given another room which overlooks the inner courtyard and the lights were on the entire night.

The website, reservations and front desk all lied about city views - which I paid extra for - none of the rooms ( my room was actually facing another taller building across and alley).
I ended up cancelling the room and found another hotel to stay in (with a city view).
It was a big inconvenience to load and unload the bags and spend more time searching for a new hotel.
The only good thing about this hotel was they cancelled my reservation / room without too much of a hassle - must have been use to other people leaving for the same reason
They actually only have two floors in the middle of the building.
