Positives:
The hotel is located very close to local attractions... Ross Park Mall, Dave and Busters, etc. It is a short drive from Pittsburgh. The staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel itself was clean and welcoming. The room was very clean and comfortable. The free breakfast was very good. Overall, it was a wonderful experience.
Negatives:
The hotel permits guests to travel with their pets. I understand this is a service that many people appreciate. However, the guests in the room next to ours had a small dog that barked a good bit. I could not hear it inside our room... the walls must have muffled the sound... but anytime I stepped into the hallway, the dog sensed it and stood inside the door of their room barking. I think, if the hotel continues to allow that service to guests, it would be beneficial to place guests with pets in one area and those without in another.

Clean, Comfortable, Enjoyable Experience.
Positives:
Very thankful they had a full sized microwave and refrigerator, but I had to scrub them out before use as they were dirty. The cups and cooking utensils didn't look clean, but they were available with a sink, dish soap, and a dishwasher I never opened. There's a good amount of shelf space, a roll-out table and desk chair. Nice sized room & bed with a pull-out couch. Pet friendly. Staff was friendly as well.
Negatives:
It wasn't clean enough. The sliding bathroom door was broken and wouldn't close all the way (track seemed crooked). Shower was too nasty to use (sticky dirt and hair in it). I had to clean all surfaces of the room with sanitizing wipes and had to clean the fridge and microwave before using them. The pool had (hopefully) dirt in it, with wads of gum laying around the pool area. Smelled strongly of marijuana at the entrance. The breakfast and coffee could have been better. The tv was too bright to fall asleep to, with no way to adjust the brightness. I paid extra for internet but it still kept losing the signal.

The location of the Hotel is close to everything you need and easy to get to the City if you know how to navigate the local roads.
Negatives:
The breakfast staffs efforts were not the greatest, which may have been one dude with sandles for footwear at work and guests or someone parking in the right of way in front of the hotel.
The breakfast was often empty of food, cereal, and empty orange juice dispenser. It didn't seem to matter the time, but definitely going 30 minutes before breakfast ends means you won't get any.

We had booked smoking rooms but upon arrival informed they had had a refurbishment and all rooms were non-smoking and smoking was only allowed in designated areas, this wasn't a major problem but was unexpected. Also there was no other food options as lunch or dinner and no bar.

Nice room size with couch and full kitchen. Great if you are doing an extended stay or have kids/pets. We had our dog with us and it was easy.
