The bed was really comfortable..loved the pillows.
Negatives:
The couch wasn't very comfortable and the pillows had some stains on them as did one of the cushions. The body wash was empty too but didn't let anyone know because I was already in a rush to get ready and leave so there was no point..but I'm sure they would've gladly helped me if I had asked!
Also, the light switches did nothing in any rooms but the bathroom..made it difficult at night when getting back to our room because it was pitch black and had to find the lamps to turn them on for some light. Room 322 if I remember correctly.

-Location was great, within walking distance to lots of restaurants/bars.

-Location close to downtown Pittsburgh

-Food was just okay, not great but not bad either.
-Parking is a disaster. I paid for parking in the garage but I couldn't utilize it because it was full, so I had to park somewhere away from hotel and pay again. This seems to be a common problem after speaking with multiple people. Hotel owner needs to address this issue so that the people that paid to park can actually park there.

Positives:
The ice maker in the fridge did not work, I had to either go down one floor or get some from the main desk. The phone in the room didn’t work as well. The room itself just seemed outdated, like it needed some updating. The room also had a little bit of a “smell “ to it, I can’t explain further…… breakfast was so crowded with little kids running around, that I left with just coffee. If I had not gotten a bit of a deal on the price of the stay, I would have been more upset, as I have seen some nights going for $400. I would never pay that price for this hotel. On the plus side, the staff is very welcoming and friendly and there was a wedding going on at night, very loud music but exactly 10:45 PM and it was all quiet again.

I liked the breakfast room. The room was very spacious.
Negatives:
Only one elevator. Limited parking in the hotel. I paid for indoor parking and found the garage full when I returned the second night. I was given a refund for the parking but it was inconvenient to park across the street at a public garage.

Great room—nicely designed, modern, functional, and in good condition. Like a studio apartment in Tokyo :)

The lobby is odd. Drab and cold and no there there.
1) When you first come off the street, you must take stairs or an elevator up to reach the main lobby. Less than ideal.
2) And then when you enter the 2nd floor, the interior design is, almost, utilitarian. It’s so incredibly plain with no furnishings or accents of any kind. So you can’t believe that you’re supposedly in the lobby of a nice hotel. Seriously.
