Positives:
We love the history of the hotel and enjoy the beautiful Christmas decorations every time we visit over the holidays. Ziola did a wonderful job setting us up with a great room and excellent hospitality. We ate at the Tap Room- cheeseburger was delicious. Make sure to visit the Terrace Room to see the mural and explore the history displays!

Positives:
Beautiful lobby. Staff were kind and helpful.
Negatives:
Bathroom tub was dated. Beds were a bit small for the room size. The hotel had no information about sites or events happening in the area. We were given incorrect information, traveled to an attraction only to find it closed.

Positives:
We upgraded to the superior king. The room was spacious, clean and a very comfortable king size bed. We had a corner room so we had great views of the city.
Negatives:
Bathroom was very functional although it was a bit on the small side. Additional USB ports would be nice. The were only 2 located in the clock on the bedside stand.

Positives:
Very comfortable bed, and good hot shower with good water pressure. Room was quiet with good temperature control. The basement speakeasy is expensive but does serve delicious cocktails.
Negatives:
We stood waiting to check in for 25 minutes even though we were the only other people there behind one guy clearly having reservation issues, because on a Friday night only one person was working the counter. The promised free WiFi with a rewards account wasn't working (wasn't able to log in with my account, the credentials of which I double checked), and once I did pay $10 for non-rewards member WiFi access, the Chromecast media casting to the room TV that was the whole point of using the WiFi didn't work either. The bathroom fan was obviously dying when we got to the room, and died completely during our one night stay. Given what I think Omni tries to create as a perception of the William Penn as a luxurious hotel, it just felt a lot more "fine when it works, which not everything does" than luxurious.
