The location (close to my niece on 42nd Street) was excellent. They were very accommodating - we had a late arrival and an early departure. Appreciated the later checkout option and digital check out.

I love the building being a former vocational arts school. The warehouse/industrial type of vibe in the room was outstanding. The room was so clean! I will be back for sure. A short 10 minute drive to PNC park was so easy. The location is just 2 minutes from Church Brew Works which was a huge bonus.

The hotel is next to a busy road. You can hear every car coming buy, the windows are not soundproof at all. My wife ended up sleeping in the bathroom to get any sleep at all.

We met the chef who was very nice and even came out to make sure our breakfast was good. Cleanliness and great. The hotel also met our budget needs and location.
Negatives:
We were not thrilled when we checked in as the concierge was very short. Gave zero instructions and when asked what time was check out he said "12/12:30 make sure you are out by 1, I really don't care". This turned us off a bit and not reassuring as we were traveling with kids and needed to plan accordingly what time we should leave by. Other than that the hotel met its needs. We met the chef who was very nice and even came out to make sure our breakfast was good. But the first impression with concierge was not a great one.
