Negatives: Outside of its location being important, one of the main reasons I chose to stay here rather than Uber to a further location was the rooftop bar advertised. However, the rooftop was closed due to a wedding the night of our stay. Had I known this prior, I would’ve never booked for that price. The staff said that the rooftop is always booked during this season and it’s likely to be booked for the rest of the year. Customers should be notified of this somehow as to not get their expectations deflated.

Negatives: Paying for valet parking, could have done that myself. Didn't realize that the room would be that small and spartan like.

Negatives: Cramped bed No where to sit Valet only parking No microwave in room

Negatives: If you’re traveling with someone, I hope you don’t have any secrets, because they will all be exposed here. The shower is only separated from the bed by the vanity and mirror. You have full view of the shower through the glass doors from pretty much the whole room. When you turn it on, the water splashes out onto the bathroom/bedroom floor, and it only has one tiny shelf. The toilet is separated from the bedroom by a barn door that doesn’t reach the floor and doesn’t lock. So it slowly slides open while you’re inside. The windows faced a residential street so you have to keep the shades closed so you don’t flash the neighbors. I’ve been with my partner 14 years, and it was still uncomfortable.

Negatives: We specifically picked this hotel because it had a rooftop bar dining experience. Unfortunately, it is not open on Sunday or Monday, and you cannot even just sit up there.

Negatives: Floor was sticky (like a bar floor) Sliding door to bathroom.. bath product was not great. One of our beds were broken… we did receive some compensation (parking 25 usd)

Negatives: Over Eden, a rooftop space at the hotel, was booked for special events and not able to be enjoyed for most of our stay. Perhaps TRYP’s business model may skew toward more profitable special events such as weddings etc. My room with a queen size bed was so small that one had to crawl on the bed to get access from one side. I’m average sized. The property was a bit sleepy over all.
