Usually don't get hot breakfast at a Microtel where I live, but there was hit food with great choices. The rooms were very clean with comfortable beds. The staff was very hospitable and professional.

It was booked through booking.com so I purchased an upgrade for the amount of people in the room. There was no difference in the room size, etc. when I rebooked a second time, at a cheaper rate

Positives:
The staff initially had my daughter and I booked for a non-disability access room despite me reserving one on Booking. They helped to prepare their only disability access room left to accommodate my disabled daughter's needs.
Negatives:
The previous occupants of the disability access room they prepared had had a dog inside the room. The dog had pooped and peed on the room and there were poop stains where someone had wiped the poop off of their shoes in various places around the room. My daughter needed the bathroom, so I couldn't ask for another room. Also, when I took my daughter into the disability access shower, she slipped on the pull down seat and in the shower (almost hitting the back of her head on the metal supports under the pull down seat) because the shower and seat didn't have non-slip materials on them.
After all of this, the hotel was only willing to deduct $25US from the cost of the room, but I have yet to see that meager of a refund going on 2 weeks later.
