When I first checked in there was a used washcloth draped over the shower rod. There also was no shampoo or conditioner.
So not a good first impression.
Also I could not locate an ice machine.
The access road up to the hotel which also has a Holiday inn next door is in terrible shape.
The access road has overgrown vegetation spilling out into the travel lanes, not a safe condition. I don’t know who is responsible to clean that up but it should be done pronto.

Positives:
The location was good, close to highway. That was the only thing ok. To be fair, the linens on the bed seemed clean and changed but that was all (see my criticisms).
Negatives:
Very, very dirty hotel. Fleas all over the bathroom floor. Large roaches in the bathroom. Asked to be changed to a cleaner room, and still roaches (but at least no fleas). There was a lipstick kiss on the mirror in the "cleaner" room we were moved to (that hints at what I suspect many clientele use this place for). See the pictures, we have a video of the fleas jumping on the bathroom floor.
I know about Extended stays. We were mislead by the higher review scores. Would not start here if you can afford another place.

There was no breakfast after they verified, there would be in early June. No staff on duty during the night. The carpeting definitely needed to be replaced. Paid $160, at most It should’ve been

Positives:
Inexpensive. Was nice to have a refrigerator and microwave. Air conditioning unit worked well and was very quiet. That was a huge plus as I kept air flowing in attempt to alleviate cigarette and other odors coming into room from the bathroom vent.
Negatives:
Cleanliness of entire property, especially the room. Room had signs about "enjoying the smoke free room" but had a constant cigarette and other odors coming in from bathroom vent. No coffee making equipment. Strange, out of the way access on a narrow pot-hole filled road behind a financial business. Car in parking lot on ramps. Seemed someone was working on the car. Pickup truck in lot full of junk that sat in the parking lot.

Positives:
Dawn found a 2 Bed unit at the last minute when my needs changed compared to when I made the reservation.
Negatives:
I did not like that the accommodations were very outdated. The kitchen area was at least 40 years old based on the Euro cabinets and old appliances. There are no USB ports but there are old fashioned wall jack outlets for landline phones.

The property is older, tired and has stopped providing shampoo, shower soap, coffee, teas, water, etc. No grab and go breakfasts…only 2 vending machines. I will NOT stay at that hotel again. Cigarette butts all over outside, just a depressing stay.
