Nice place good value.
Positives:
It was a wonderful experience from the moment we walked in to finishing our complimentary breakfast. We had sold our house in the area and stayed at the hotel in preparation of our closing that morning. While we have moved about two hours out of the area, we anticipate being back very often due to family still in your area and will definitely stay at your Hampton Inn.

The elevator was having a little issue so we were using the stairs which was a bit inconvenient at times. We made it work but it would have been nice to use the elevator.

Negatives:
The lock mechanism in our room was installed backwards, so the bathroom door wouldn't lock or close. The tub was so narrow it felt unsafe like standing in a canoe. The toilet only flushed if you held the handle down. The blinds in the suite area were broken. There was some sort of substance in the 2 small ottomans. like lotion splashed all over them. They use some sort of fragrance that comes out of both AC units, kind overpowering.

We wanted to use the pool, which according to their website is open from 9:00am to 10:00pm
When we got there the receptionist told us the pool is open only from 10:00am to 7:00pm which is not fair at all since the check out time is at 11:00am
If I would’ve known this I wouldn’t have stay at this hotel, since our point was to enjoy the pool with the family

Charged me $250 smoking fee and I did not smoke in the room. Said they found a wrapper and ashes in the trash. It was a wrapper and guts. no different than a cigarette smoker leaving their empty packs in the trash. I told them check the cameras I walked OFF the property to smoke. Plus I had a toddler in the room and my mother who is sensitive to smells. I would not smoke around either of them. My things may of smelled like it from home. But I did not smoke in that room. No different than a cigarette smokers things smelling like smoke. We walked out, off the property. No smoke in the room at all. This is crazy.
