Very good
Positives:
Great location, friendly and attentive staff
Negatives:
The room was drab, and stifling hot. It was hot even after turning the thermostat to fan mode; the paint was flaking in places, with pant flakes on the floor: the bathroom was cramped and the shower temperature handle was very loose and wobbly; there was no full length mirror, or any mirror, in the room. The hotel cafe was drab and sterile, with a small choice of pastries—no full breakfast.

Positives:
The room was funky.
Negatives:
Couldn’t have choice of heat or air con so had to have a little portable fan sent up.
Ran shower and water was brown.
Shame that the hotel doesn’t have its own bar or coffee shop. Hotel felt tired and a little run down. Also some of the nearby streets did not feel safe.

Positives:
Decor, location, staff. The hotel was quiet so we slept well.
Negatives:
The elevator was not working efficiently this morning. The bath fixtures were dated.

We would return.
Positives:
an exceptional property in so many regards. A truly historic building, with fascinating architecture and design, we were given a simply huge room/suite (bedroom and sitting room). The decor was stunning, the Poindexter coffee shop was fabulous, and the hotel is central. We couldn't recommend this property more!
Negatives:
Although it wasn't a major concern for us, the building was being switched from ac to heating on the occasion of our visit. Small heaters were provided, and we accepted the fact that historic buildings behave like historic buildings; they have their wrinkles! That being said, some forewarning would have been welcome, as would a small gesture in acknowledgement of the inconvenience (reduced rate parking, perhaps, or complimentary breakfast/coffee in Poindexters).

Positives:
Central location
Negatives:
At check in we were told AC not working so it was hot in the room overnight. Like 75.l +. Front desk gave confusing instructions for off property parking garage. Reiners restaurant was terrible.

Positives:
The public spaces are creative and fun. The location is a plus, if you want to be in the center of town. Like the lobby coffee shop. We have stayed at a few Graduate properties and have really enjoyed the concept.
Negatives:
The noise in this hotel is an issue. I heard every cough and sneeze coming from rooms above and below us. There was a wedding reception happening the night we were there, three floors up, and we heard it like we were right next door. The front desk staff should place only wedding party guests on those top floors. Also a ridiculous amount of traffic noise- like drag racing sounds from the streets around the hotel. Parking is a joke- 2 blocks away, no one helps you with your bags. They just wave you out of the driveway and tell you to turn right. Bathrooms are tiny and outdated.
