The location was convenient as it was close to the station and the mall and some nice restaurants.

I was very disappointed. To start, the system was down when I arrived, which was not long before the 16:00 check in time. I had been travelling for quite some time and the attitude was, “well, it’s not our problem, come back later”.
The room is nice enough, but the shower didn’t work properly and I needed to open the cistern to get the toilet to flush 1/3 times. There was mould on the ceiling and it’s filthy underneath the bed (I was looking for a sock). Then the cherry on the top was that the elevator broke down on the 14th floor when I returned home from dinner at around 8:30 on Saturday night. I was stuck for over 30 minutes and completely traumatised. I am claustrophobic so this was a terrible and frightening experience for me. Once I finally got out, I called reception to let them know. They were unsympathetic when I asked for help getting my bags down the following day and said “there is no porter service”. So I carried my heavy bag down 14 flights of stairs today and I will never return. My daughter is a freshman at Brown, so I will be visiting Providence often, but the Graduate by Hilton will never see me again. It’s a shoddy, tacky institution that does not understand customer service or basic decency.

Exquisitely designed space that exceeded expectation. The location is terrific and convenient for all transportation purposes. The room was large and comfortable with terrific views.
