The Dean Hotel

Negatives: Shower stall too small- like a phone booth.

Negatives: I had nothing to complain about

Negatives: No room service at all.

Negatives: The bed squeezed badly, the mattress was soft and the pillows thin

Negatives: The floor was sticky, the toilet paper wasn’t a new roll when we arrived, the elevator is hard to manage especially with luggage. We stayed in the top floor which isn’t accessible by elevator only stairs. Creepy painting on the room and the room wasn’t in good shape.

Negatives: Lack of basic facilities, such as coffee pot or kettle, in room!

Negatives: The desk in the room was super small, so a bit hard to do work on. The elevator, although unique, was too small, and difficult maneuver w/ a lot of luggage. Lack of plugs near desk didnt help. I tried the scone at the little coffee shop, and it was pretty awful, and the coffee shop is never open when you need it. Murphy's Bar next door was open until 12 pm / 1am, so this really helped. Oh, and stairs to get to the lobby, was painful if you have a lot of luggage.

Negatives: The bed was very soft, as in I sank into the middle soft, so not sure a couple would've had a good sleep. There was a window air conditioner in the room, and it was right by the bed blowing onto my face and also sounded like an airplane, so there was no way I could use that. Luckily, I'm not a fan of a/c, but if you were, good luck trying to sleep. I sat in the leather chair in the room and when getting up, my shirt stuck to the chair and left a leather stain mark that didn't come out and the shirt is ruined. I showed reception who felt bad about it, but all they said was, "I'm sorry about that, I'll look into that." Seeing as that's a shirt I can no longer wear, I would've preferred some money off the hotel as compensation. I think it's the least they can do if they're going to have chairs like that. As I alerted staff, hopefully they will check the chairs. The room view was of other windows, so the room felt claustrophobic. The photos online were totally different to what was actually there. I was happy to pay this price as the hotel looked really cool online, but after staying there, don't think the price is worth the value.

Negatives: It would be nice if the hotel arranged for discounted parking and provided free brewed coffee in the morning.
