Positives:
The place was good. The location was also very easy to get to being right off the highway. Then getting to attractions from the hotel was easy as well with the side road that filtered into the main road.
Negatives:
A side entrance would be nice due to the swing bridge traffic holding up everyone getting to the property. My son also advised me the "free" internet cost $5 so I told him not to use it. I never checked behind him on this though.

The property was nice, the staff was nice and cordials.
Negatives:
The service was awful, there was no general information in the room to inform us on what to do if you need clean towels, or service to the room, what was the Wifi password, etc, We went to the front desk and was told we had to request if we wanted the room to be cleaned, which we told them we did and the room still wasn't clean , we put trash and the dirty towels outside the door, the trash and towels moved ,but still did not get any clean towels in the room ,my husband went to the front desk and got us some clean towels. TV was awful, almost every channel, had "no signal" or we just got "snow" finally we were able figured out how to operate the TV enough to get some working channels. carpet in the room was patch up and it was coming apart, lighting in the room was very poor.

Positives:
The breakfast was great, one morning there was grits, pities, eggs, sausage on the menu, 2nd morning there was grits, bacon, scrambled eggs, and of course waffles, very good choices to choose from.
Negatives:
The juice machine did not work but we improvised.
