Negatives:
I booked the hotel through booking.com, paid and called the hotel to confirm. I received a call back stating that they are cancelling my stay due to no A/C, this was immediately following hurricane Helene. I said okay and I asked if I would have a refund and was told "I don't know". I have not received a refund.

Location was right off of the freeway. We were able to sleep in a bed for the night while traveling back home from vacation.
Negatives:
We told the front desk we didn't mind the air conditioning not working but another employee canceled our reservation anyway. They had rebooked our room to someone else and hastily gave us another room; Customer service was a mess and unprofessional. The room seemed to be in use already or wasn't cleaned properly; there was still leftovers in fridge.

Location across from restaurants. Friendliness and helpfulness of staff. Comfort of rooms.
Negatives:
Room could have been cleaner. But it was as best as it could be since there appeared to only be 1 cleaner there. She has so much work that she has to get her child to help her. They need to hire more cleaners. Our rooms were not cleaned daily. But for the most part it really wasn’t that bad. I’d definitely stay there again!

We are currently underneath a dispute with booking on this property. The property was filthy and the owner would not allow us to check out early. We did check out early. Hopefully booking is looking into this so we can get our money back from the second night.
