The Comfort Suites At WestGate Mall recently underwent a complete hotel renovation in 2022, including all rooms and public areas. The hotel is five miles from the University of South Carolina Upstate. Visitors will enjoy being close to a number of local attractions like the Spartanburg Memorial Auditorium and the Spartanburg Expo Center multipurpose venue. The room was clean but the bathroom shower was a mess. It needs to be remodel it doesn’t fit the hotel a lot of brown crap in the shower maybe rust.

The staff was very rude. I traveled all the way from Florida to come to see my son play. He plays for Wofford. I waked in on 9/14/2024 at 2:15pm. The older lady at the desk was very rude. She didn’t even acknowledge me when I walked in. I told her I was checking in. Her response was check in time is not until 3:00pm. Wow. Never had to deal with this before. My son’s school had a parade that I had to attend at 3:30 and a game at 6pm. Not only that the guy that worked that night didn’t even acknowledge me as I walked in at 4:00. I had to rush to get ready for my son game at 6pm. Yeah I will never stay here again. The air conditioning was leaking water on the floor in room 206. This is crazy.
