Ok, but I feel like...

I booked one type of room and when my husband checked in they “upgraded” him to a smaller room. I was not present and wasn’t aware they changed our room until I arrived 5 hrs later. The bathroom door would not close, and the tiny shelf in the shower was falling off the wall. The bed was lumpy. When I spoke to the staff about the room they didn’t offer a real explanation and told me there wasn’t much price difference as if that made up for the bait and switch. Don’t pick a room with an interior balcony as noises echo (a dog kept barking in the lobby) and sound like they are amplified. The bright spot was our breakfast was great and the server was awesome!

Overall it was a great...
Positives:
The front desk staff was very accommodating and assisted us promptly. When upon arrival the hotel was clean and the lobby presented well.
Negatives:
Overall the property was nice; however, there was a water bug in our room. There is never one bug, this was the only one we actually saw. The sheets in the room were very rough on our skin. Although clean it was as if they needed to changed out. The sheets were worn and you could tell the thread count was subpar.
