Close to freeway and south off Columbia, SC.
Negatives:
Wallpaper pealing in many places, shower floor dirty and hair in drain, toilet flushed once and would not refill all they did was apologize, internet went down so no breakfast. Not told the room was for handicap wheel chair access. Not worth half of what we paid. Very unsatisfactory.

Plenty of parking. Hotel feels new. Nice lobby, Great rooms. Bathrooms are beautiful. Room was nice and clean. Quiet area. Pool was nice.

Staff was not what you expect at a Marriott. Very casual, too casual. Dress code was a bit strange for Marriott. Wasn't sure who was staff and who wasn't. Lots of rap music in the hallways from maids and maintenance men.

The morning breakfast and coffee choices. I will not pay $5+ for a cup of awful Starbucks coffee. This hotel needs to include a complimentary breakfast. Probably will look for another hotel option next time. We got coffee at a nearby gas station.
