The weather was beautiful so being able to experience the rooftop patios was so special. Our room was on the 8th floor, the views were amazing!
The bartender at the rooftop bar was so kind and friendly. Will definitely stay here again!

The Hotel Alex Johnson is in a great location with a fantastic rooftop bar that affords views of the Black Hills and Rapid City. Our king bed was comfortable, the room was quiet, and the blackout blinds were so effective we didn't realize it was daylight when we woke up the first morning. We will definitely stay again if we return to Rapid City.
Negatives:
The parking situation is a little challenging. Valet is quite expensive and the parking app for street parking wasn't working properly, which is not the hotel's fault, but it did mean we had to keep moving the car around.
