Positives:
Very nice and loved all the antique stuff. Very clean. The barkeepers and waitresses were very friendly, and so were the valet and our waiter in the restaurant. The food was excellent. Really enjoyed walking around the hotel and looking at everything. Got a sneak peek of the 311 room . Overall we enjoyed our stay.
Negatives:
The front desk could have been more helpful when we asked about our luggage, he just kind of dismissed us and said to talk to the bell hops and pointed in a general direction. Not feeling entitled but when we got there we were told the bellhops were busy and we might have to take our own luggage up which was fine but then a bellhop showed up with a luggage cart and walked us inside to check in but then he put the cart in a corner and said one of them would be back to help us. So when I asked the front desk guy if we could leave our luggage there and have one of the bellhops deliver later or if we should stick around his dismisive attitude was very off putting. We just ended up taking our own luggage up, which, again, was fine. Also, although the room was clean, you could tell it was very old with paint over it.... not really "updated" and it had a really bad musty/humid smell when we first got there like maybe the AC had just been turned on because the smell did clear up as the days went by. Also, the AC was really noisy everytime it clicked on. And the room was very dark.

Positives:
The classical look of the hotel really brought you back to other times, next to that the personnel was very kind and helpful. They even upgraded us to the historic tower when we couldn't sleep because of some noise.
Negatives:
The bathroom and especially the outdated & not so clean looking shower were some things that defenitely should have an update, this was not up to the standards of the rest of the hotel.
