Positives:
Location was perfect for walking and leaving our car parked. We had a nice balcony and even saw a bear hanging out by the pool our first night there. It was quite late, so I don't think they come into town very early.
Negatives:
The property looked a little worn, could use some sprucing up, but it was clean and quiet so that wasn't a huge issue.

Good
Positives:
No very much.
Negatives:
Parking lot was extremely small. Elevator was broken and we were on the third floor. Room smelled horrible. Like dog pee. We complained and was given no apology. Had to keep the doors to the balcony open to combat odor. Property was not well kept and garbage not picked up. Will not stay here again.

Negatives:

Nice place to stay with a good hot breakfast & pretty quiet rooms. Good for the price
Review
Exceptional
Positives:
The convenience of coming and going out of the facility.
Negatives:
When we arrived the Hotel Clerk told us the Elevator was broke and would not be fixed for about a week. He then proceeded to tell us because of our arrival time the only room for us was on the 5th floor or we could cancel our reservation. We opted to stay because of the late evening arrival thinking there would not be any available rooms in Gatlinburg that late. Also the Free Breakfast was hardly anything, the 2nd morning was leftover stale biscuits and milk gravy. the Breakfast attendant was very rude to some of the guest, she obviously hated her job!

We have stayed there off & on through the last 30 years, We will never go back again!
Positives:
Location. Walking distance to DY
Negatives:
The lobby smelled of Body odor, the elevator was out. The room was missing lightbulbs, the bathroom sink was too short. Not enough bathroom counter space. . The caulking around the bathtub had mildew on it. The floor was nasty. I had to actually clean it with some soap and water. The comforter on the bed had spots on it. Didnt wanna attempt to use the phone because it was gross. The door to the balcony did not lock.

Well never stay here again
Positives:
The elevators were broke. We did not stay there. The manager refunded our deposit. I am 78 years old and my partner is 71 and just had a foot operation. We could not use the stairs. Why were we not informed of this problem?
Review
We did not stay there
Positives:
I was really looking forward to this stay. I loved that this hotel had everything, view, balcony, king bed, whirlpool bath, but we didn't stay because the elevator was not operating. I'm mobility challenged.
Negatives:
Elevator parts seem to be scarce in this part of Tennessee.
Review
We decided to go home that evening.
Positives:
Easy access to everything downtown (main street) and the mountains (Great smoky mountains national park). It is a very cozy place. I loved the view from the balcony towards the mountain. They have an ice machine and laundry. The breakfast was very good, they have decaf coffee and waffle makers. It was a very good stay . The staff gave me instructions if a bear approached. Very comfortable parking. Next time I will stay in this place again.
Negatives:
The elevator was not working. I think the building needs love (painting). Maybe a little more security in the hallways (presence of bears)

Overall Very good
Positives:
It was convenient as far as location
Negatives:
Elevator out!! Our room was on the fifth floor because we did not want a room for travelers with pets.
Review
Would not stay there again
Positives:
The room was nice and clean. The balcony was large and the beds were comfortable. The breakfast was good also and cooked fresh each morning. I was the first time be got a budget room and the fireplace actually worked.
Negatives:
The first thing that comes to mind is that the elevator was not working which was not mentioned. Luckily when we booked not many people were there so we were able to swap to a room on a lower floor as my wife has trouble with the stairs. There wasnt much of view from the balcony and they are not private at all.
