Facility smelled, was missing window shear, tub faucet loose, toilet seat was broken, TV remote missing back cover. No info TV guide, no local info Breakfast left a lot to be desired. Powdered eggs tasted like cardboard and were cold. Not much of a choice.

Positives:
Room was clean, spacious. All the amenities I needed and then some. Location right off the highway, and proximity to restaurants for dinner was excellent. All we really needed was a clean room, air condition/heat, a little fridge, TV, good lighting, ease of moving from one floor to another, was able to park near the main entrance. I was surprised that there was a hot breakfast, and it was good. Waffle machine!! with eggs, sausage, and biscuits, cereal, juices, coffee, and more. If you're just stopping in off the highway to sleep before you continue for another 3-6 hour drive, this is a good place to stop. I felt safe and comfortable there. And the greatest surprise was proximity to the Museum of Appalachia... it was too close to pass by, so we stopped and visited for a couple of hours and saw, among other wonderful things, the most beautiful pair of peacocks, who showed off for us without fear. History buffs will love this Museum. It was a great overnight stay. I'd definitely come here again if I'm passing by this way again.

Hmmm, I don't know... I can't think of anything. I only saw everything I needed was there. Okay, if I must,.... it had rained over night, and I had just washed my car the day before, so I wasn't pleased with the rainy morning, but... nothing Country Inn & Suites could have done about that!! Eventually, as the morning became noon, the rain had stopped. No complaints. Truly!

An overnight stay in Knoxville......
Positives:
The staff was friendly and polite. The breakfast was very good, comparatively speaking for these types of basic buffet breakfasts. They never ran out of food and continually refreshed. The eggs and sausage were hot and the variety was appropriate.
Negatives:
The room was a little rough. The ceiling could use some work (with water stains and other discoloration), there was a big drywall hole in the closet that didn’t seem up to code, and the bathroom door was swollen. There were scrapes and scuffs that either needed to be repainted or hit with magic eraser. It was clear that the sink and vanity were updated and lovely but the rest of the bathroom was clean enough but not updated. I wondered if we were staying at a room that was halfway renovated.

Positives:
I arrived late and was really tired so I did not feel like calling the desk for a remote control or a hairdryer Which the room I was in did not have either. I left early the next morning and did not have time to discuss any of those issues with anyone.
