We absolutely loved our time at The Tennessean. From the moment you walk in the lobby you feel welcome. There are lots of little touches. The rooms are expansive yet comfortable. So convenient to everything we wanted to do. We will definitely stay again when we come back to Knoxville.

Can’t beat the location! Close to tons of bars and restaurants. The staff were friendly and the rooms were exceptionally clean.
Negatives:
Parking is valet only. Just a personal preference, but I like to know exactly where my car is parked.

Excellent all around.
Positives:
The room and bathroom were spacious, loved the mirrors. Also liked the location. And they have a shuttle service that will take you within 3 miles of the hotel. It is first come, first served though, so if it was a busy day, one could wait awhile. The staff that drove us were very nice.
Negatives:
We stayed for 3 nights and the room was not changed /cleaned at all. When service came by we asked them to come in another 30 min, and they never did. We ran out of clean towels and toilet paper. We also asked for a pair of bathroom slippers and they could not provide some. (one pair was available in the room, but the room was for 2 people).
