Rooms were not particularly clean . 2 of the 4 elevators were not working leading to very long delays . Even for the best rooms the bathrooms are pokey . My sunglasses went missing when I used the hotel valet service .

I was very disappointed. It's supposed to be the "bell of the South" for hotels. The staff was friendly. Our room was not appropriately clean. There was trash including food in the trash can from the prior guest and trash on the floor in the bathroom. We ordered room service for breakfast and it was beyond late. It arrived burnt and inedible, missing items from the order, and only one set of silverware, I asked for it to be removed from our bill and was told they could not do that. We specifically ordered room service for convenience purposes. Convenience fees are added into those room service costs. We could not eat the food. It arrived so late that we had to leave the room in order to make an appointment. Greatly disappointed.

What a fabulous hotel and the duck march was great. Quite expensive but you get what you pay for and we loved the ambience

Beautiful hotel with a rich history, conveniently located, and the ducks were a fun twist. The staff is truly the best. Apart from a couple interactions, the majority of the staff is super helpful, accommodating and friendly. They seem to love working there and will gladly point you to a recommended restaurant or bring you towels or whatever you need. The managers (both day and night shift) were absolutely awesome.
Negatives:
For what you pay, it could be better, ie bigger/cleaner rooms, more amenities. There’s no microwave, coffee pot in the room. The indoor pool would be a great bonus were it a little cleaner and it would be nice if they had “kids free” hours for those that want to use the pool without 200 kids at the same time.

We got to stay at the world famous Peabody for $300. It was the cheapest in the downtown area. Valet parking and just a block away from Beale st.

Rooms and areas tired and old fashioned. Restaurant’Carpaccio’ extortionate, average quality food and wine. They also started prepping for breakfast while we were eating our dinner at 8.30pm - unprofessionally managed and zero atmosphere! 16 dollars for a very basic Caesar salad etc! Exploitation and Manhattan prices! Very poor….
