Dream Nashville by Hyatt

Negatives: More basic than anticipated, no English breakfast tea, lack of staff in morning breakfast, had to go to kitchen to ask for service!

Negatives: The rooms were a little on the smaller side.

Negatives: We were put in a room with two smaller beds instead of the king we reserved. We requested a room change, and though we were Hyatt members with an early reservation arriving right around check in time, we were put in a room on the noisy second floor that overlooked the restaurant ceiling with no outdoor light. We aren't the type to request another change, but were not satisfied with the room. Also, I found it difficult to get ice and iced tea delivered to the room and went down to the lobby to get it. I was willing to go to the restaurant and get my own iced tea, but front desk said they would send up. It never came, though he gave me a gigantic (too big for the ice bucket) bag of ice to carry up myself. I also found the rooms kind of dark and run down. There were a few instances where I felt like communication with front desk was not optimal - the desk ended the conversation before I felt like I was understood, or we misunderstood each other. Valet car retrieval very slow. Upon check in, we were not told of free water bottles and there was almost no information about the hotel and its amenities in the room, or on the web page that the QR code sent us to.

Negatives: The room was very dark and the view was a brick wall. Also, we had to call for ice when we needed it. The gym was clean but it needed a recumbent bike and ankle weights. We were celebrating a special birthday and I think the hotel could have done a little more in this area. Also, the concierge service was a little disappointing.
