Good
Positives:
Location and Bed was comfy. Female desk clerk was nice.
Negatives:
No hot water, smoke alarm broken and in dresser, dirty floors, sink almost falling off, toilet paper roll dispenser broken off, curtains that don't close had to put object on them to keep them shut. Male desk clerk was not welcoming.
Positives:
Close to Big Bend National Park. Nothing fancy, but certainly acceptable for the price paid.
Negatives:
Toilet paper holder was broken. No light in the shower.
Positives:
LOCATION / hot water
Negatives:
EVERTHING ELSE

Terrible
Positives:
It was relatively cheap, and at least it had ice, unlike several other places we stayed.
Negatives:
Unclean; curtain was a mess; no counter space in the bathroom; and I swear the floor wasn’t level.

We got out of there...
Positives:
The man who checked us in was polite and helpful.
Negatives:
Cleanliness was an issue .Dim lights made it difficult to read .Bathroom was old and outdated .
Positives:
What a dump! I wouldnt use the shower if I was desperate - you needed a flashlight to see it. Terrible.
Negatives:
There was little I liked about this hotel other than the location.
Positives:
Absolutely nothing
Negatives:
It was filthy. The furniture in the room was broken. The room had one less bed than we were told.
Review
Miserable
Positives:
Price and last second availability
Negatives:
Kind of deceived by the pictures as its a rather run down very antiquated property.
Positives:
This was the dirtiest hotel room we have ever seen. Layers of dust, layers of scum, dirt and who knows behind the toilets, dirty, dirty, dirty.
Negatives:
It was absolutely awful.
Positives:
Proximity to downtown Alpine and kind staff
Negatives:
The heat did not work well and we could hear everything in the room above us. We did not sleep well due to that and another person staying at the motel walking around outside and talking on the phone loudly.
Positives:
I didnt care for this room. The facility is in a dire need of a makeover. And not a coat of paint. It needs serious upgrades and attention.
Negatives:
It was old, run down. The room was cold no matter that the heater was on. To me, I didnt enjoy being in the room.
Negatives:
There was only one elderly housekeeper, so I understand the quality of the room. He was very nice though!
