The elevator was out and we were put on the third floor. I had no choice because the booking was non-refundable. There was a large roach in our room when we were checking out. The tile in the bathroom was loose. The pillows were just balls of cotton. The bed was lumpy.

I understand it is hard to get labor on a long weekend but the point to note was that the elevator already had a cracking noise once it reaches any floor and that should have been an indication. To the staff that it was going to break anytime soon. How could they overlook such a matter which can even impact the safety of the users if the whole thing gets stuck half way through during the operation? I can very well assume that the cracking noise would have been there much before our arrival on July 4th ! Ignoring such signs proactively means ignoring the welfare of the customers like us and that was terrible about that hotel and its care takers !!
2) toaster in the breakfast area did not had covering g on handle to press the breads down . We ended up pressing on the metallic portion where the insulated part was broken and detached. Moreover the left side two slots were not working on toaster . Very pathetic to have that toaster still there and that too on a busy weekend where people queue longer to get bread toasted with just two slots !!!
3) the phone in the room was not working that lets us dial to reach front end staff with one button. It was totally dead and no dial tone . Seriously? Then why do they have a dummy piece in the room? Please have it cleared out !
