The hotel was under construction, pool and gym closed. The problem was at 4am there was a rain storm and the room started to leaking heavily through the window seal. Curtains and minsplit were soaked, a puddle was forming on carpet and wet my luggage. The front decked offered keys to other rooms which were also leaking. I was offered a refund by a manager following up the next weekday. When the manager called she denied any reimbursement.

The breakfast was good and location was convenient to globe life field where my event was.
Negatives:
The property is very old and the rooms are very outdated. I felt like I was back in 1962. The furniture in the rooms looked rough and definitely had wear and tear. The chairs in the room were stained. Also, upon entering my room, there was a lizard running around the bathroom, and I'm not great with reptiles. So I asked for someone to help me get the lizard, and they couldn't send anyone. The room looked clean but because of the age it had a dingy feel to it.

The room I reserved was given to someone else. They did give me another room but mot the type I reserved,
There was no cold water in the shower. Only steaming hot water. I did report it and nothing was done to try to make up for it. The lady at the desk said, "That's a first, we usually get complaints of no hot water."

Positives:
Love that it is close to many attractions. We were there for a Rangers game, and the drive is just a couple of minutes away from the stadium. Loved the big room we stayed in. Liked that they had a convenience room stocked with drinks, medicine, and food.
Negatives:
Interior was a little outdated. Was nice, but can use a facelift. The couch in our room was very old and was definitely broken down as the cushions didn’t bounce back when you got up. The bed was not very comfortable, it was very firm, even for a normal hotel bed. The bathroom we had needed some work. It looked like they had tried to patch things in the Sheetrock, but didn’t repaint or make it look done.
