Positives:
I lived. The rate seemed good for a holiday weekend. The front desk staff was nice.
Negatives:
The location is very run down and in a bad part of the city. Most of the surrounding area is rundown. The lot itself looked rundown and dirty. The room was dirty and rundown. The bathtub had rust in it and there appeared to be black mold on the ceiling. We didn't feel very safe.

Days Inn by Wyndham Austin/University.. I couldn’t stayed there and checked out within 2 hours .. it was such nasty place to stay.. all weed or stinky smell carpet was very very bad.. all stains chewing gum we couldn’t step on with bare foot .. mattesses was from seems 30 40 years back.. they were in boat shape.. we can see mattress foundation I can’t stay how bad those were.. restroom and wash area bad too. I saw dead insects in AC went. My throat is very itchy.. my 1 year daughter was suffocated with that smell and my wife got throat allergy. That room was not 200% livable. Not what standards you check when do tie up with such hotels.. very very bad. We abdruptedly ended our trip.. checked out that hotel stared to my home which is 3-4 hours away. I highly suggest do check quality of the hotels rooms.

The room locking latch is missing parts. There was a half eaten dinner left in the fridge, and some gay porn brochures left in a drawer. There was no stopper in the tub, so soaking was not possible. The continental breakfast was a choice of two yogurts, two cereals, a muffin, and / or toast. The pool, though still covered was filthy.

Positives:
Breakfast was minimal. Location was great. The room was clean tv was limited. The people who stayed and hung out there made me uncomfortable and concerned.
Negatives:
There were several sketchy people in and around the hotel. Made me uncomfortable for my family. The property was old and should be upgraded. The rooms had been upgraded and were clean.

The bedroom and beds were pretty clean, at least.
Negatives:
The bathroom floors were grimy, as were the common areas of the hotel. The parking lot and pool areas were filthy, and looked like a drug lot. It seems the area is scheduled for demolition at some point, and every property there has gone to seed.
All that would be tolerable, but to top it all, it's a horrible value - for what they charged us per night, we could have found a nice hotel downtown for just a few bucks more.

I liked nothing. Worst hotel I've EVER stayed in. This hotel needs to be torn down and put a homeless facility there. It was dirty, old, no parking to speak of, people smoking dope out in fron tof their rooms, broken down cars in the parking lot............you name it it was bad nothing was good. I was scared to stay there, but would loose $166.00 if I didn't stay there.

Everything I liked nothing. No breakfast. Went to get some warm milk, sour orange juice. I'm surprised Booking.com would list this property as a hotel. Take it off your list of places to stay near UT. (within walking distance) Lot's of sketchy people around the property just standing around doing nothing. The pictures on Booking.com does NOT look anything like the actual property. These pictures might have ben taken 40-50 years ago. This is pathetic that old pictures on the facility are used. I promise you that you would appalled to see the actual property versus what's been portrayed on this website.
