Positives:
Great location, walkable to 6th street and the park / springs. Staff friendly allowing us to leave our bags when we were too early to check in and also when we checked out. They also provided late check out for free.

Large room with kitchen facilities. Complimentary but very limited breakfast (no fresh milk amongst other things).

No utensils or crockery. Not a cup or glass. Now this is my error in choosing this property. I’m sure others will have commented. It’s “extended stay”, so I imagine people buy their own materials. I was only there for a night and that was fine as I was jet lagged anyway!

Price, staff were very friendly, location, in town for a race which was just down the street from the hotel.
Negatives:
It’s very dated all over but especially in the entrance and lobby areas need cleaning and painting. A little freshening up would help.

The location is Central austin, South of the river, so that was good.
Negatives:
There's no microwave anywhere, the breakfast is so minimalist, packs of oatmeal and small muffin, and coffee. They have the staff running around doing different jobs. No coffee maker in the room either. For $120 a night I expect more.

After a bad experience at another hotel, we came to Extended Stay at the last minute. They were very accommodating. The rooms were sufficient and clean. The price was good and it felt safe.

The bed and pillows were NOT comfortable at all!

It’s really dirty and filthy. The bathroom smelled like mildew and the shower was dirty and we hadn’t ended used it. There were bugs all over the room and. I found a spider in my bed!!

Positives:
This hotel is really in a perfect spot... not right downtown, but within easy walking distance of the South Congress Ave bridge and many shops and restaurants on the south side of the river. The room and bathroom were super clean and quiet, king bed very comfortable, staff friendly. Our room included a kitchenette; clean and well laid out. Nice vinyl wood-grain flooring, which we much prefer to carpet which can retain dirt and odor. We would stay here again in a heartbeat, and in fact when we return to Austin this will be a likely hotel for us. Highly recommended.
