Hilton Garden Inn Austin Downtown/Convention Center

Negatives: Railys Gomez was awful - she was rude and laughed at us. We had a package delivered and she said it’s not been delivered. She made us go to the next apartment and told us to go around and check the other Hilton’s in the area and phone UPS. As it happens, the package was right there. The worst customer service I’ve ever had!! She was dismissive and acted as if we were scum. I’ve never been treated like that in my life. A note if you’re a light sleeping there is music blaring all night. The rooms are old and a little dirty. When you ask them to clean your room they don’t. Parking is $60 a day which is extortionate

Negatives: Staff on arrival were totally unhelpful and rude. After asking about the breakfast, to potentially add it on to my booking, the receptionist, Quinn, said I should go ask the resturant, that she couldnt answer the question, and it wasnt her problem. I told her I found this unhelpful and she became aggressive, saying she doesnt have to answer my questions. I asked her to be respectful, and she kept escalating, being more rude. I asked to deal with a different colleague instead of her, and while I being served by this new colleague (Rachel), Quinn continue to loudly berate me in front of other hotel guests, like a petulant teenager. She carried on and refused to stop, even when I asked her to stop, to be quiet. Needless to say I have never experienced this from client-facing staff at any hotel. Quinn is not fit to work in hospitality and the hotel needs to take action with regards to this event I will never return to this hotel, and recommend to others not to do so either. It's not a Hilton, it's a franchise, poorly managed, poorly trained staff, tired/worn setting, etc Dont come to this Hilton

Negatives: Snack prices are unreasonably overpriced. It’s ridiculous.

Negatives: The bathtub seems to be unstable and hard to take a shower

Negatives: I duct l didn't like that I was unable to be properly checked in due to a computer system update... This resulted in the fact the that I was unable to be issued a room key and was forced to have a a member of the front desk staff take me up the elevator and unlock my room... Extremly

Negatives: It’s old, grounds are unkept and scary (not as in haunted). Twice we had homeless people approach us asking for money on the grounds of the hotel.

Negatives: Breakfast is expensive (not much to choose from); the valet parking (takes forever to bring the car); the location is by the highway; no food services to bring to your room.
