Hmmm what did I like? Nothing at all. Well I guess the front desk guy was nice to us, but overall this place was awful and disgusting. I would never recommend it.

We were given room 232. The room was grotty, the thermostat wasn't working and the shower tap was broken (the tap spun loosely, no water came out). There was no maintenance staff available, so we were given a new room, 328. In that room the carpet around the air conditioner was flooded (1/4 the area of the room) and there was mould all around the A/C and window (see pictures attached). There were 4 lights in the main area, but only 2 worked. We stayed in mouldy, dark, dingy room with a soaking carpet. We were exhausted from having to move into a room twice, and didn't want to do it a third time, and we were too scared to see what the third room would look like, so we decided to bare with it. We never took our shoes off, unless we took a shower, or were in our beds. I've never had a worse experience in a hotel. We were given a 25% discount, but that didn't make up for such a horrible, unhygienic experience. This reflects very poorly on Booking.com who I would think vets the property's they suggest to their patrons. I have lost a lot of my confidence in Booking.com

The location is amazing, walking distance (for Europeans) to the downtown and Austin City Hall.

Breakfasts are a bit poor and tons of trash are produced each morning, as the hotel uses only disposable cutlery and plates. Moreover, the hotel requires an urgent renovation, because even for a 2-star place the standard and quality are too low. The room was clean, but you could feel the stuffiness, like the room hadn't been aired for a long time.
