My back is essentially broken, that’s why I was late. But the staff listens they care that’s all that matters to me.

Rooms were very dirty and my first room was soaking wet all over the flooring. Also the pool was closed which had not been said on booking. I chose this one as it had a pool but I couldn’t even use it.

Excellent location where I could walk to every place I wanted to go. My room was basic but clean, comfortable and quiet. The staff I talked to were helpful. The section where my room was located was kept clean but some of the exterior halls and balconies needed attention & refurbishing. This is an older property. Breakfast had a variety of food available, but the juice machine ran out of orange juice, apple & cranberry was available.
Negatives:
There was only one ice machine. The sign on the 2nd floor ice machine sent me to the ground floor but that one was not working either. When I returned to the lobby, I was told the working machine was on the 4th floor.
There was scaffolding around part of the building although I did not see many workmen.
On my last day, I tried the orange juice dispenser but no orange juice, only water came out, but the out-of-order stickers had been removed.

I NEVER understood people who have customer service jobs and can’t seem to use there skills when they’re needed! I had a horrible altercation with the front desk ladie named MS.B she was such a horrible experience and face to the hotel! After a long 4 hour drive to AUSTIN she greeted me with a horrible demeanor and not even bother to fix her mistakes , I asked for a supervisor on site and she refused to call her due to her EGO ! If I had just spoke to the supervisor on site who could of answered questions then maybe then I would of DECIDED TO STAY with LA QUINTA hotel , but due to HER POOR customer service. I cancelled my stay and took my business somewhere else. Never again will I be attending here with my family again !
