La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Bridgeport

Negatives: It was dirty and had hair on the bed in every room they switched us too.

Negatives: I booked 2 suites, one for me and one for my son. My son arrived first and checked in with no problem. I arrived an hour later and when I went to check in the lady at the desk informed me that I didn't have a room. I had completed the online check-in. Showed her my confirmation and she informed me that they didn't have another suite but they could put me in the last room she had. It did have a pullout couch so we all had a bed but I had booked a suite for a reason and the room rate increased by $3. It was only $3 but it was the principal of the matter. The poor girl behind the counter was obviously having a bad day.

Negatives: I didn't like that our refrigerator wasn't working.

Negatives: Terrible customer service, dirty. They had bed bugs. I took photos and they tried to say i lied, called the police because i said i was going to report to the health department. The hotel staff were in pajamas and belched right in front of me when i went to check in and did not say excuse me. Horrible place.

Negatives: The tub was very slippery. I was nervous getting in and out of the shower. The water faucet in the sink was set too far back, so I had a hard time filling a cup of water, washing my hands and rinsing off my toothbrush.

Negatives: Cold Breakfast, like out of the refrigerator cold, did not clean room. Had to ask for towels several times.

Negatives: My first room had pieces of the ceiling falling down....didn't know if it was from a leak or from a repair/patch that was just done and hadn't had time to fully dry Was moved to a different room but young lady working at that time didn't look happy on moving me

Negatives: The first night I checked in Kristi left a note on my door saying my card declined. I told her to run it again and she did. Everything went through and it showed it was withdrawn from my account. The next morning, it showed that they tried to remove 96.77 from my account but it declined The next night, an old red headed lady was pounding on my door at 5:00 AM and tried entering the room. She kept saying that my card declined for the same amount that was deducted on the first night. She was on the phone with her boss who claimed that it didn’t clear but was pending. I showed them that it was deducted from my account already. They kept telling me it wasn’t and threatened to call the cops. I paid a second time to just so I could avoid more of a disturbance. Not to mention that when I checked in, I had sheets that were stained with what looked like pee. The phone in the room did not work, so I had to use my own phone to call the front desk. I called and Kristi gave me a new top sheet and a comforter. I had to change them out myself. The lady at the front desk kept cussing up a storm about the maid service. My son had a big blob of what looked like lotion on the side of his bed.

Negatives: A/C in the hallways and elevator is usually off.

Negatives: The jacuzzi tub was broken

Negatives: Wish there had been another arm chair in the room. One of us had to sit on the bed or in the roll around office chair. The original room we reserved was to have had two queen size beds and a handicap tub/shower. That room was not available when we checked in so we got a single king size bed, which was ok, just not what we expected; and there was a wheelchair shower only. Water from the shower went all over the bathroom floor.
