Motel 6-Conroe TX

Negatives: Room 133 (smoking room): ROACHES! Everywhere, and all sizes from full grown to tiny hatchlings. No phone in the room. The TV screen went out on the 3rd night, so had sound but no video. No security latch on the door. Room 136 (nonsmoking): MOLD between the beds, on the ceiling, and in the bathroom. Holes in the wall. No deadbolt handle, have to use a pair of pliers to turn the small metal piece to engage the deadbolt. Found one full grown roach between the mattress and headboard. Power outlet between the beds did not work, had to stretch a power strip from the opposite wall to plug in my CPAP machine. Checking in: I reserved 2 smoking rooms through Booking.com, confirmation email shows 2 smoking rooms, the lady at check in argued that I booked 1 smoking and 1 nonsmoking, and then tells me she can’t switch the nonsmoking because they don’t have another smoking room available. I reserved 2 rooms with double beds for a total of 3 people (2 adults and 1 child), and she questioned me for several minutes wanting to know why I booked a double room if there would be only 1 person staying in it. Overall: Do not stay here. You WILL have roaches crawling all over you, your luggage, and every piece of furniture. If you have any lung condition you WILL have trouble breathing, both from the roaches and the mold. The very first night I was looking for another hotel for us, but couldn’t afford to switch hotels after already checking in and prepaying for 3 nights here. Spend the extra $20-30 a night and stay ANYWHERE else!

Negatives: I didn't like the mattresses.

Negatives: I wish you would invest more in the mattresses. It feels like sleeping on a futon.

Negatives: Holes in the door, uncomfortable bed, and roaches in the room.

Negatives: I didn’t like the little office manager that came up to my room banged on the door, looked in my window while I was in my bra and underwear banged on the door again and then opened the door really unacceptable. The cement stairs for going from the first floor to the second floorthe third one has deteriorated and the rebar is showing. Took a nice fall coming down the stairs.

Negatives: The room was small and smelt of weed and mold. The whole hotel is full of sketchy looking people standing around.

Negatives: All tv channels were fuzzy. A/c was dirty, needed cleaning. There was no latch lock and the lock to turn and lock door on the inside was broke. Put a chair against it but that didn't keep staff from entering at 10am staff just walked in to see if we were leaving. Big potholes in parking lot.
