Positives: Front desk lady was nice.

Negatives: I waited 1 hour 45minutes for my room. Then it still wasn’t ready, so they said I got an upgrade. Only upgrade was 2 beds instead of 1, which I didn’t need. No shampoo/conditioner, no refrigerator, microwave etc.given, they said it was a standard room so no extras. Bottom floor of shower was stained dirty. The pool didn’t open until 11am, which is checkout time. And I believe the maids/houseman were smoking pot outside the rooms. I was very disappointed, I stay in many hotels & motels during my travels & have never encountered these things! Also, I worked at a 3 star hotel for 20 years & a 5 star resort for 4 years.

Positives: Location was good , not too far from Padre Island. Close proximity to Walmart/HEB. Love that they are pet friendly so we were able to bring our Fur Babies with us on a short vacation.
