Negatives: Hotel charged me for parking 16$, but it is no information about it!

Negatives: no hot water for the duration of my stay

Negatives: The staff was extremely unprofessional. My first day of booking my flight was late to where I missed the first night of my stay, arriving after midnight. The clerk at the desk answered my call for transportation and was rude telling me to be where I was supposed to because the hotel was short staffed. He arrived and didn’t greet me but greeted the airline staff whom I flown into Dallas with. He was on the phone with a friend while checking me into the hotel and stopped my check in to check in the flight crew which made me feel invalidated as a customer. Rather than charge my card for the deposit he disregarded my booking.com reservation and overcharged me. It was only by a few dollars but the hotel was already charged to my card. I went to the hotel staff several times in person and by phone to correct the charge and received no help. I called for three days to resolve the issue and was told someone would call me and did not. I finally called and requested the general manager and was transferred to a lady named Shida? whom was confused and misinformed and kept talking over me rather than listening to me. The whole experience was frustrating and unprofessional. I will never come back to this hotel. I’ve stayed at several Aloft hotels and this was by far the worst experience I ever had.

Negatives: Front desk check in guy was not very professional. He seemed bothered to be at work.

Negatives: Lighting in the room was tragic. I could not regulate the air conditioning. I could not decipher the instructions to arrange a wake-up call. And to top it off, the bar had only one choice of bourbon!!!!
