Positives:
The location was good, and the hotel looked like the pictures posted. However, I found ants in the room. They were in the bathroom and in the small area by the bathroom. I literally killed about 35 ants and I called front desk to inform them. I was told that the hotel was completely booked for the night but she would call her manager and call me right back! I never heard back from her. The next morning for checkout, I informed another front desk clerk on what happened…she said the previous worker should’ve called their manager and returned my call. She apologized for the inconvenience and I asked if I could be compensated in any way because I barely got any sleep because I was worried about ants possibly getting in the bed. She told me she’d have to call the hotel manager since I booked through a third party (Booking.com). Needless to say, I did get an apology but I didn’t get reimbursed or compensated for the inconvenience. I’ll never stay there again!!
Negatives:
Ants in the room and got lied to by a front desk clerk. I never heard from the hotel manager after making two separate complaints about ants being inside my hotel room!

The worst hotel stay ever!

Nothing because my room was cancelled.

Customer service. I called numerous times to let them know about my check in time and they said my arrival time would be noted. As I was on my way to the property, I got an email that my room was cancelled due to card payment. I called seven times, no one answered so I called 30 minutes later. When I called again, someone finally answered, I told them my room was cancelled. The woman said it was cancelled due to card issues. I said that I will be there soon to and could use a different card to pay, I was actually supposed to pay at property, so I do not understand why they needed to charge my card before I checked in? She said I couldn’t go in to use a different card because now the room is no longer available. I asked if I could request the same room when I got there, she said no. She proceeded to tell me that I could book the room again on the app and that there would be an additional charge since I am requesting the room so quickly. Overall, I was unsatisfied with customer service as I am calling days before.

The Texas shaped waffle iron. I made two waffles for breakfast lol. The location was perfect. Room and facility was very clean.
Negatives:
The front desk guy that checked me in could have been a bit more friendly. He wasn't rude at all, but he was very flat. Didn't experience the bubbly attitude as the other employees I dealt with during my stay.

The location is close to Downtown of Dallas (10-15 mins). Enough parking for everyone. Crispy clean bedding and comfortable pillows. Decent breakfast. Rooms are tidy, well maintained, comfortable. I was happy about the opportunity to have a sound machine / ear plugs by the bed. Great blackout curtains. It's the best hotel is average price category I have ever stayed at.
Negatives:
The only thing to mention is how third party apps work (Booking) if there is two rooms booked for two people under ONE reservation. In my case, I thought that if I book two rooms through my Booking account, then my reservation will display both of the rooms at check-in UNDER MY NAME. In reality, if a Booking customer during booking process leaves any note about for whom the other room reservation is made for, Booking will automatically separate the main reservation into two! So, as we were ready to check -in, we realized that my reservation included just one room instead of two:) We figure out the problem a bit later, so everything turned out good.

The beds are the most uncomfortable beds I’ve ever sat in. The room was super loud we all had a hard time sleeping. We wanted to get in the pool but the water was super cloudy and not clean. There was no hand soap in restroom and there was small hairs all over the shower.
