This is surprisingly nice hotel (for its 3 stars rating) in the middle of Dallas downtown. Benefits: nice restaurants cross the street, walking distance. Room the size of European average size apartment. Clean and well equipped. Breakfast handled via vouchers for the restaurant in the hotel. So you can pick from several breakfast options what you want to eat.
Negatives:
This is not about not liking, just about knowing. Self parking was not available, so you're left with valet parking only, at $55 per day (so if you go for this hotel as a cheaper hotel than other around, you need to factor this in). That on the other hand is OK as you don't need to mess with parking and just drive to the front door.

Three out of four elevators were rickety; one elevator was wobbling. One elevator sounded like the cords were about to break, and the other had a gap in doors so you could see your decent.

Smelled faintly of pot in the lobby and halls. May need to apply a stronger deodorizer. Nothing that would keep me from staying there again.
