The hotel was clean and decently located to Galveston.
Negatives:
The clerk instead of greeting us decided to answer the phone for a long extended conversation with people where weren't even there! I was very offended we were physically present with a reservation yet she chose to converse with possible guests. Also there was no fridge or microwave in the room.

I booked a hotel room here. I was told when putting in my card reservation to hold the room nothing would be charged until leaving. I decided not to take this room due to me believing there was no power due to recent storms. The phone wouldn't even ring. That didn't stop y'all from charging my card even though we never even showed up. You are lucky my bank intercepted this bogus charge otherwise you'd be speaking to my lawyer instead. Do better!!!

The lights were out at the hotel due to the storm. It took us until 3am in the morning to find another place to stay. I wish we could have been notified earlier in the day to try to find another place or to just cancel our trip all together.
