My husband and I stayed at the hotel with our small dogs on multiple occasions as we were based across the state and searching to purchase and close on a new home in town. The staff was consistently excellent, even in the face of large convention crowds, including huge groups of children for dance contest events. I always appreciate the suite layout, the fact that the hotel allows a couple of little pups, and the attached restaurant.
Negatives:
There are some cobwebs in the upper corners of soaring ceilings, which are obviously tough to reach. Not a big deal, but they did draw my eye as I was relaxing in the lobby. But this really a minor quibble.

It's obvious, but the first good thing about Embassy Suites is that it offers Suites, which is excellent if one person is sleeping and the other has to work or watch TV. There's a table and decent-sized mini kitchen. The breakfast is solid; it's still standard hotel fare, but it's hot and there's a nice selection. The happy hour was fun, and the lobby is lovely and comfortable. The staff was excellent. They were having some tech issues, which happens, but did a great job with updates and were focused on problem solving. I enjoyed every conversation I had with a staff member and felt that they genuinely cared about my stay.

The pillows were very mushy.
