I submitted a cancellation September 1 and seven days later no one responded to me and I’m still I was still charged for my stay. I’ve tried several times to contact the hotel and customer service reservation. Both times was an epic fail. No one answered the phone. I said on hold for a total of 40 minutes waiting to speak with someone.

Positives:
Tru is affordable and in decent location. Staff was friendly and there is a good assortment of snacks / drinks at the front desk if the need arises. Breakfast was also sufficient. The room has a basic, but modern enough design.
Negatives:
The hotel is simple with no frills which means no pool, no restaurant, no extras, etc. It's a fair trade off for the price, but may catch someone off guard if they're not looking into the details much

Room was efficient and clean, but not at all spacious. But for the price, we weren't surprised. We had a King regular room. Bed/pillows were comfortable, air conditioning worked well, bathroom towels were fluffy and large. Breakfast was a cut above most economical hotels.

First time staying here and the hotel felt muggy and moist. Even when you laid in bed covers felt moist because the hotel seemed like it was damp. Need dehumidifier to suck up moisture in rooms. Overall besides the dampness everything else was great.

I left my Apple Phone Charger in the room and no one really helped me get it back. Even I tried to contact the management and no once chased it back to me.
Negatives:
It was all good, but the post stay was bit off as I mentioned above.
