Candlewood Suites is pet friendly! Pets weighing less than 80 pounds are welcome. Staff was very nice and approachable. Bedroom and bathroom were both very clean. There were no bugs which seems to be a problem at other locations on the island. Bedding was nice and cozy. Location in the center of the island was convenient and felt safe.
Negatives:
Door was slightly dented (still very secure, but light definitely cam in). Thermostat was not super cooperative. TV seemed to have options for streaming services like Netflix, but they could not be used because the remote was a different brand and did not pair well.

I did not know breakfast was available. I was able to book quickly, at the last minute. Receptionist was fairly friendly and efficient, the little efficiency was comfortable and well equipped.
Negatives:
The place seemed a little run down, a tile was missing in the bathroom baseboard, there were small gaps between joints, and a dead cockroach in the closet. It was definitely overpriced.
